Richard Peters holds a B.A. degree in Physics from Sonoma State University, (minors in electrical engineering and mathematics) and a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from the University of New Mexico.  He has practiced law for ten years and is an active member of the California Bar and is registered to practice with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.  Richard has extensive experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the software, electrical, computer networking and data management fields. In addition, Richard has written patent applications for large companies including Texas Instruments, VMWare, LSI Logic, NVIDIA and NetApp.
