Shelly is a member of the Corporate Practice Group. She graduated from The University of Chicago Law School in June of 2016. While in law school, Shelly developed an interest in technology entrepreneurship through her participation in the Law School’s Institute for Justice Clinic on Entrepreneurship and internship at a Silicon Valley tech startup company. Additionally, as a member of the Kirkland & Ellis Corporate Lab, Shelly had the opportunity to work closely with a Fortune 500 company.
Prior to commencing law school, Shelly worked in Santiago, Chile for 1.5 years managing and implementing sustainable energy projects at Codelco, Chile’s national and the world’s largest copper mining company. Shelly graduated from the University of Notre Dame, magna cum laude, in 2011 and holds a B.A. in Economics, Political Science and Spanish Literature.
Shelly is fluent in Spanish and conversational in Hindi.
