Aastha is a Principal Associate in ILTP’s commercial team, and is based in Gurgaon. At Inventus, Aastha structures, drafts and negotiates various commercial agreements, and provides strategic advice to meet clients’ diverse commercial needs, including on intellectual property and privacy laws.
Aastha’s experience spans both commercial law and dispute resolution in India. Before ILTP, Aastha gained invaluable experience at JusContractus, a Delhi-based full-service law firm, for over 6 years. She is skilled at drafting complex, customized agreements, tailored to clients’ unique requirements. Her experience serving a diverse clientele across multiple industries, coupled with her background in litigation and arbitration, complements Aastha’s commercial practice and equips her to provide holistic, strategic advice to clients.
Aastha has had the honour of assisting Hon’ble Ms Justice Usha Mehra (Retd.), in the ‘Justice Usha Mehra Commission of Enquiry’, constituted by the Government of India to enquire into the various aspects of the Nirbhaya tragedy, and to identify measures to improve the safety and security of women in Delhi in 2013.
Aastha has published various articles, including on arbitration, on Bar and Bench. In her free time, Aastha loves playing (and cuddling) with her beagle, and discovering music, podcasts, and poetry. She is fluent in English and Hindi.
