Manya Oberoi works for the Commercial team at Inventus Law, in California. At Inventus, she drafts commercial agreements, advises on complying with privacy and data protection laws, and provides support on international trade and intellectual property matters.

Prior to joining Inventus Law, Manya earned her LLM in International Legal Studies from New York University School of Law in 2020, where she was a Human Rights Scholar and an International Finance and Development Fellow. She also holds a B.A. LL.B. from Gujarat National Law University, India. During her studies, she was published in various international journals and won accolades many international moots such as the Stetson International Environmental Moot Court Competition, the ICC Moot Court Competition, and the Willem C Vis Vienna Moot Court Competition. She has previously worked at various international organizations such as the UN International Law Commission, Interpol, the International Committee of the Red Cross, the UNDP, and the Permanent Mission of India to the UN. Most recently, Manya was a Connie Smead Fellow at the Human Rights Law Foundation, where she handled international litigation matters.

In her free time, Manya enjoys reading, traveling, and yoga. She is fluent in English and Hindi.
